Tim Holmes, Director of Sales and Events

Tim Holmes is a member of the Fireside Catering team of directors of sales and events. He handles all events and weddings at Fruitlands Museum and The Bradley Estate.

Tim is a graduate of The University of Vermont and he began his career in hospitality while coordinating weddings and other off-site catered functions on Lake Champlain after college. Tim learned of Fireside Catering through his passion for amazing food and local sourcing which brought him to Massachusetts in 2011 to join the Webber Restaurant Group as an Assistant Manager at the Scarlet Oak Tavern, our restaurant on the South Shore. He knew his dedication was geared more towards catered events and began working as an Event Manager for Fireside Catering in the summer of 2012, and soon after the end of that season he took on the role as the Director of Catering and Sales at Fruitlands Museum. His dedication to his many clients, knowledge of food and detailed eye make Tim a valuable member of Fireside Catering and the Webber Restaurant Group.

Our clients have raved about Tim over the years. Below is a sampling, from our reviews on Wedding Wire and The Knot, of some of the wonderful words given about Tim:

This was the first and only venue my husband and I checked out. I could not be happier with our choice. The venue is beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious! Tim was so easy to work with and he made the process so much less stressful- I would’ve been lost without him! The staff the day of was so great and attentive. We could not have asked for a more perfect day, thanks to the Fruitland’s Museum and all of their staff!

The Fruitlands Museum is a beautiful venue that is unlike any other in the area. Our guests were amazed by the beautiful setting we had for our July wedding. Upon our first visit, Tim was well organized, helped answer all of our questions and we knew we would feel at ease with Tim and his team taking care of us that day. We were assigned designated wait staff who provided us drinks and snacks while we were taking pictures and helped us with anything that we needed. I would recommend the Fruitlands to any couple who are looking for a stunning backdrop for their big day!”

We were absolutely blown away by our experience at Fruitlands. The venue was not only stunning, but the staff (especially Tim), service, food, and ambiance were more than we ever could have hoped for. Tim, the wedding coordinator at Fruitlands is excellent at his job! He is so easy-going and made us feel relaxed throughout the entire process. We knew we could ask him any questions, and he also helped us figure out a lot of other wedding-related details (how to communicate with a non-responsive vendor, how to deal with complicated family situations at the reception) and I really felt like he wanted our day to be as perfect as possible. He is incredibly professional and his staff LOVE working with him and at the Fruitlands–I think that says a lot. When he left the reception I also felt like we were in good hands with his banquet staff, and they catered to us the entire night. It really made us feel special and like we didn’t have to worry about anything. I recommend Fruitlands 100 times over. I feel so lucky that we found it and I wish we could have our wedding day again and again!

I cannot envision a better place to get married and have a reception at than Fruitlands Museum. They literally took care of everything from the day of timeline to a day of coordinator and everything in between. The views are amazing and the food is even better. Everyone kept coming up to me during the entire reception asking how we found this place because it was so beautiful and people are still calling me saying how great the venue was and how awesome all the food was. We lucked out and had perfect weather so we were able to have the ceremony outside and it was perfect. Everything about our wedding day went so smoothly and it’s all because of the staff at Fruitlands and nothing to do with us. Leading up to the wedding we worked with Tim who was so helpful and answered every question we had. He looked out for us and gave us tips and suggestions because we had no idea what we were doing. If you’re thinking of having an outdoor wedding you should definitely check this place out. I hope I know someone else who gets married here just so I can go back!

We had a fabulous experience at Fruitlands Museum. From the planning before hand, and our actual wedding, everything went so smoothly. We worked with both Tim and Tracee, who were both so helpful, organized and patient! The staff the day of were all wonderful, the food was delicious, and our guests all had a fabulous time. Even when some bugs came out (we were a day or two after a lot of rain so while they don’t usually have bugs, we got some), they brought out bug spray for our guests. Our whole experience, from start to finish, was amazing here and definitely recommend Fruitlands to anyone!

Tim and his team at Fruitlands really brought our wedding vision to life! The backdrop alone speaks for itself, but it was the ease of planning and the impeccable service that really put us at ease leading into our big day. When it comes to that level of service, as well as the amazing, gourmet food, Fruitlands offers amazing value. And its recommended vendor list was a huge asset in helping us check off many of our to-dos. A month out from our wedding, our guests are STILL raving about it. I can’t recommend this venue enough – especially if you want a stunning fall, New England setting and a wedding day where you can be present and stress-free.
